Apollo is a modular system of spun aluminium light shades which can be arranged in various configurations. The solid shades block and direct the light whereas the laser cut filter light to cast shadows, these can be layered for a different aesthetic. Marc Bell and Robin Grasby of International were awarded third prize at the [D]3 Contest for young designers at IMM Cologne in January.
