Chinese designer Zhang Zhoujie founded his digital laboratory in 2010 after studying Industrial Design at Central St Martins. The laboratory is focused on exploring new digital form, combining traditional handmade techniques with the latest digital fabrication processes. Zhoujie's spider-like pieces pay respect to the logic of mathematics and vary in terms of composition mixing sharp angles. Every triangle is a unique shape and size and fixed together by hand.
