Dutch digital manufacturing company Snijlab recently discovered a revolutionary method of making wood flexible. By using laser technology, they make small cuts in the wood which make it able to bend in both directions without breakage. These booklets are made from birch plywood and finished with a clear varnish, a tiny clamp inside made from the same material holds the writing block in place.
